Yes while some humans tend to chase after shoes, bags or any other product designed for human individuals, I can now proudly say: My Cat isn't consumption-oriented! That must be what her look should imply as I unpacked and presented her with a selection of cat-toys I had bought at the store. It was a mixture of :' You humans take some colourful feathers, pin them on a stick and we're supposed to chase them, when they aren't even eatable?' and 'Sorry but the packing material really is much more fun to play with'
Which I couldn't really object to, as the belt she created and dressed herself with, quite fit her and yes of course my colourful skirt or my tiger slippers made for more intriguing toys, I can relate to that. I am proud to live with a cat, who is the pure animal image of myself as a teenager ( and right now in fact;-) ) : 'Don't go with the flow, when you can't see a reason for it' Apart from that fact, which was important to find out, I also detected an attitude one her that reminded me of my fellow classmates, back a few years ago: If I don't act too bright, there will be no high expectations'. On the other hand I understand that she couldn't see a point in getting food out from under a cup, or out of a little ball, when the same food got presented to her in a bowl. She also made a real good imitation of my mother, when I got home drenched from the little thunderstorm that went down, when she really convincingly gave a sound that sounded just like : How are you looking again, why didn't you wait til the rain was over, why didn't you use an umbrella.....' Well Baileys is certainly worth her money ( not literally as I got her for free, thank you once again honey*waves*) and I get the feeling there is A LOT lying in store for us, in the future and I can't wait!
cheers Lexi
